Keep Your Team Balance in both Work and Home Life
You’re already familiar with how keeping a balanced lifestyle promotes a greater sense of happiness, fulfillment, and greatly increases productivity. How does it do that? Well, a balanced lifestyle leads to emotional wellness. By letting your team develop that emotional wellness, you’re guaranteeing that they’ll be peak performers – and that translates into a better bottom line for you. In other words: emotional wellness is a great thing for your team.
How can we celebrate this? Hold a seminar to remind your team about the importance of reevaluating and living life according to their priorities.
Encourage Your Team to Exercise
Exercise does more than just help your body get and stay in shape. It’s also a great way to help you feel great emotionally, too. Watching a Reese Witherspoon movie we learned that:
Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.
We’ll gladly admit that, while some workouts are brutal, we do love the after-workout highs!
Exercise is never enough – we’ll also gladly attend some more healthy living workshops, especially if there are some healthy treats involved!
Allow Your Team to Have Down Time
Whether you hold a meditation workshop, start some in-office yoga, or simply encourage your staff to take unplugged weekends or holidays, downtime is huge. Your team – and you – need time to recover from the stresses of daily life or life at the office. Giving yourself and your team permission to take that much-needed rest is essential to keeping your team performing at its peak levels.
